Broccoli Slaw Detox Salad Recipe

  • 500 gms Broccoli florets
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
  • Ginger
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Honey


Step 1

Peel the carrots and put them in a food processor fitted with a round shredder disk. Shred the carrots.

Step 2

Put the broccoli florets in the food processor and shred them too.

Step 3

Put the shredded broccoli and carrots into a large bowl, and add the raisins and sunflower seeds.

Step 4

Switch with shredder disk in the food processor with a regular steel blade.

Step 5

Peel the ginger and add to the food processor, along with lemon juice, olive oil and honey (if using). Process the mixture in a food processor until smooth to make a dressing.

Step 6

Add the ginger dressing to the broccoli and toss until combined.
